Missionary Helper is a ministry of Moody Family Ministries that is focused on raising funds to help assist missionaries in reaching this lost and dying world with the gospel, the good news that Jesus saves.
For the purpose of clarification, we wish to take a moment and explain our definition of missionary. Let's look at the word missionary for a second. It can be broken down into two parts: the word mission, a task or service to be performed by the order of an authority, and the suffix -ary, meaning someone who performs or exhibits the preceeding word. By this definition, we say that a missionary is someone who has been sent to perform a task or service by the Authority, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, to spread the gospel. We believe that as Jesus said in Acts 1:8, "[...]ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.", that anyone who presents the gospel, who has a mission or service to perform for the Lord, is a missionary. We see anyone who has a regular outreach in which they seek to serve the Lord as a missionary.
We actively seek to assist missionaries with specific needs that they may have. If you are a missionary with such a need, please contact us, and we will do that which is within our power to help. As Peter said in Acts 3:6, "[...]Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee:[...]".
